Album Summary
Victory is the fifteenth studio album by The Jacksons. It was released by Epic Records on July 2, 1984. This was the only album to include all six Jackson brothers together as an official group.
Victory was certified 2x Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in the United States in October 1984. It peaked at number four on the US Billboard 200 albums chart. Its most successful single, State Of Shock, peaked at number three on the US Billboard Hot 100 songs chart. Victory was supported by the Victory Tour, with Michael, who had recently released the world's all-time best-selling album, Thriller (1982), being prominently featured on the tour's setlist. None of the songs from Victory were performed on the tour.
Shortly after the Victory Tour ended, Michael and Marlon Jackson quit the group to pursue solo careers. Jermaine, Tito, Randy, and Jackie Jackson continued on as The Jacksons and released one more album five years later, 2300 Jackson Street (whose title track did feature all six Jackson brothers, along with their sisters Janet and Rebbie), before splitting up.
Singles released from the album are State Of Shock, Torture, Body, and Wait.

Torture
Director: Jeff Stein
Premiered:
In the video various acts of torture are displayed, and various members of the band are usually on the receiving end. At some points the video looks like a horror movie. At a later point, a group of skeletons—that are supposed to represent The Jacksons—are shown dancing. Neither Michael nor Jermaine appears in the video; Michael was busy with other obligations, and Jermaine refused to be in the video. The rest of the group decided to shoot the video without them.
Jeff Stein was the director, and Bryce Walmsley the scenic designer. Jackie Jackson also oversaw the production, acting as an advisor. The dancing skeletons were animated at Peter Wallach Enterprises.
Stein recalls the shoot as an experience that lived up to the song title, and that sentiment is shared by others involved in the production. It finished over schedule and over budget. By the end, The Jacksons themselves had stopped showing up.
Body
Director:
Premiered:
Body is the third single released off the album Victory by The Jacksons. Marlon sang the song’s main verses while the rest of the group sang the chorus. Neither Michael nor Jermaine appear in the music video, however it does feature the rest of The Jacksons, including Randy.
